Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and ThisJobFits, Inc. (“ThisJobFits”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of ThisJobFits.ai, the dashboard, the emails, and any related features (together, the “Service”). By signing up or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By signing up, you represent that you are 18 or older and that you have the right to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your password secret. Tell us immediately at support@thisjobfits.ai if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account that you could have prevented.

You give us information about yourself when you sign up and when you edit your profile. You agree the information you give us is accurate.

ThisJobFits ingests job listings from public job boards and aggregators, scores each listing against your profile across eight dimensions, and shows you the ones that clear the filter. On the paid tier, ThisJobFits also generates tailored resumes, cover letters, and answers to screening questions.

We do not auto-apply. We do not submit applications on your behalf. We do not contact employers on your behalf. Every application is yours to submit, in your own words, with the artifacts we help you prepare.

We do not guarantee you will get interviews, offers, or a job. We provide scoring and drafting tools. The work is yours.

We offer two paid plans at launch:

• All-In Monthly. $24.99 per month, billed monthly, auto-renews until you cancel.
• All-In Quarterly. $63.99 per 90 days, billed every 90 days, auto-renews until you cancel.

A free tier is available without payment and does not auto-enroll you in any paid plan.

All amounts are in US dollars. Taxes may apply and are added at checkout. We use Stripe to process payments; by paying, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide.

If a charge fails, we will retry per Stripe's standard schedule. After three failed attempts, your account moves to the free tier automatically. Your profile, ratings, saved jobs, and scoring history remain on your account. AI-generated outputs (tailored resumes, cover letters, Q&A answers) also remain stored on your account, but in-app access to those files requires an active paid subscription. Resubscribing restores access; you may also request an export at any time under our Privacy Policy.

You can cancel your subscription at any time in settings. When you cancel:

• Your All-In access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• On the period end date, your account moves to the free tier.
• Your profile, ratings, saved jobs, and scoring history remain on your account.
• AI outputs you generated (tailored resumes, cover letters, Q&A answers) remain stored on your account, but are not accessible through the free-tier dashboard. Resubscribing restores in-app access. You may also request an export at any time under our Privacy Policy.

We do not offer a pause. If you need to stop paying, cancel. When you are ready to come back, resubscribe. Your account picks up where it left off.

Resubscription restores paid-tier features but does not reset the Right Fit Guarantee.

You own the information you put into the Service: your profile, resume, ratings, saved jobs, and any text you generate or write while using the Service.

You grant us a limited license to use this content to operate the Service for you: to score matches, to send emails you have signed up for, to generate AI outputs when you request them, and to train your per-user scoring model. This license ends when you delete your account, with one exception: we retain billing records to meet legal obligations.

We do not use your content to train general-purpose AI models. We do not sell your content. We do not share your content with third parties beyond what the Privacy Policy describes.

When you use resume tailoring, cover letter generation, or the application assistant, we send your resume, profile data, and the relevant job listing to our AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) through their APIs. The AI generates an output. We store that output on your account.

Your rights

You own the outputs in the sense that you can use them however you want in your job search, including submitting them to employers. While your subscription is active, you can view and download every output from within the app. After cancellation or a downgrade to the free tier, outputs remain stored on your account but are not accessible through the free-tier dashboard. Resubscribing restores in-app access. You may also request an export at any time under our Privacy Policy, regardless of tier. We recommend downloading anything you want to keep before your paid access ends.

Accuracy

AI outputs can contain errors, including hallucinations and factual mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing any output before you submit it. Do not submit an AI-generated output to an employer without reading it first.

Our rights

We may store, inspect, and aggregate outputs to improve the Service and to catch abuse. We do not publish individual outputs and we do not share them with third parties for marketing or training purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam, harass, or defraud anyone.
• Use the Service to create or submit applications on behalf of another person without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the Service in ways that break it or evade rate limits.
• Use the Service to train a competing AI model.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass any pay wall, scoring limit, or feature gate.
• Share your account credentials or let anyone else use your account.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

The job listings you see in the Service are sourced from public job boards and aggregators. We do not publish these listings. Listings are subject to the terms of their original source.

We do not guarantee that a listing is current, accurate, or still open when you apply. Employers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings.

We do not endorse any listing, employer, or hiring practice.

We build and operate the Service on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime or that any specific feature will remain available. We may add features, change features, or remove features at any time. We will tell you before we remove a paid feature you actively use.

If we stop offering the Service entirely, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, let you export your data, and refund any prepaid subscription time you have not used.

We use analytics, session replay, attribution cookies, and advertising conversion measurement to operate, secure, improve, and market the Service. These tools may process device and browser data, page views, clicks, account events, checkout events, and other interaction signals as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

You agree not to interfere with security, fraud-prevention, or service-measurement systems in a way that harms the Service or other users. Where required by law or described in our policies, we honor browser-level privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control.

The Service, including the scoring model, the prompts, the interface, the copy, the brand, and all code, is owned by ThisJobFits or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service beyond the right to use it as a subscriber.

“ThisJobFits”, the ThisJobFits logo, and the Service interface are trademarks of ThisJobFits, Inc. Other trademarks named in the Service belong to their respective owners.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of any job listing, scoring output, or AI-generated output.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ThisJobFits and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the Service, including lost income, lost job opportunities, or lost data.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. If you are in one of those jurisdictions, the limits above apply only to the extent allowed by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold ThisJobFits harmless from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your use of the Service in a way that violates these Terms, (b) content you submit or actions you take through the Service, or (c) your violation of applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

We may update these Terms. When we do, we:

• Update the “Effective” date at the top.
• Prepend a dated changelog entry.
• Email you at the address on your account if the change is material.

Material changes take effect 30 days after notice. Continued use of the Service after that date counts as acceptance. If you do not accept a material change, cancel before the effective date and the prior terms continue to apply to the remainder of your billing period.
